About Us
When it comes to comfortable living, having the right furniture is essential. Chairs, couches, and loveseats are some of the most common pieces found in residential spaces to provide a place for relaxation or rest. Finding the right one means making it the best fit for you and your family's needs. When furnishing a home, it all boils down to one key factor: family size.
Bigger households need to invest in larger sets of furniture that provide sufficient space and support for everyone. But those with fewer people have the leeway to opt for smaller but no less stylish groups crafted of quality materials like wood and leather that guarantee durability and long-term use.

How I Came Up With The Idea
My husband devised the idea as a teenager when he recuperated from a broken arm and kept losing the remote on the couch. Since he couldn't get his hand into the seam due to a bulky cast, he ended up tipping the sofa over and cutting the bottom of the couch to retrieve the remote. As you can imagine, his mother was not happy with him. Like other items, he noticed the remote consistently fell below the cushions. He also saw that after parties at his home, he would find not only loose change but watches, wallets, and other items that had fallen between the seams. Over time, he forgot about the idea until our kids become teenagers. And after looking for a missing remote and the phone, we found not only the remote and lost phone but much-hidden homework as well.

After listening to me complain about how easy it was for our kids to hide their homework on the couch, my husband encouraged me to create a prototype to try out on our couch. I not only drew up what he was describing but made one as well. The couch catcher worked so well that we could tell when our kids had friends over while we were not home. Lost keys and phones can be found under the cushions. Due to that success, we contacted an invention resource center in Southern California. They helped us research whether or not there was anything else out on the market similar to our concept. Invention Resource International helped explore the viability of our idea but also helped write the provisional patent. Once the provisional patent was obtained, I set out to write the non-provisional patent, and with the help of the patent office help center, I not only wrote the patent, but they issued it.
