THE FOREFRONT OF INNOVATION

INNOVATIVE

STRUCTURAL DESIGN

Dynamic

The jackable building foundation system features a unique steel beam support frame platform combined with cuboidal column guides and square roller frames. This innovative design ensures smooth and stable vertical movement during the jacking process.

OPTIMAL

TORQUE SUPPRESSION

Balanced

With alternating orientations of I-beams and rollers at each corner, the system effectively suppresses torques generated by uneven jacking. This ensures that the platform rises without jamming, providing a reliable and safe foundation lifting experience.

SMART

REMOTE CONTROL

Telemetry

The integration of a digital device, such as a smartphone, with application software enables remote control and monitoring of the entire foundation system. This smart feature enhances convenience and precision, allowing homeowners or professionals to manage the foundation's elevation from a distance.

THE PROBLEM

Vulnerability

Homes and other buildings located in
flood-prone areas are subject to the risk
of damage and destruction from
floodwaters associated with storm
surges. Construction of foundations for
homes/buildings above the flood hazard
the elevation is often not practical from a
technical and/or economic standpoint.
Even where foundation construction
above historic flood levels is feasible, the
trend toward increasingly powerful storm
surges in recent years poses a risk to
any building in proximity to a large body

of water.

Flood-prone buildings: Mitigation strategies?

THE SOLUTION

Stabilization

One potential approach to minimize the
risks associated with storm surges is to design a jackable foundation that can be raised and lowered with the flood
water level. While designs for jackable
building structures are known, the
the problem of maintaining a level platform
under conditions of variable and/or
unevenly-distributed lifting force has
heretofore not been satisfactorily solved.

RETROFITTING EXISTING STRUCTURES

HTH Inc.’s patented system can be retrofitted into your existing building. Our system can:

  • Raise your existing building so that the lowest floor is above the flood level.

  • Floodproof existing structures without rebuilding them entirely.

  • Integrate our patented technology by creating exterior and interior unified raising points.

  • Vertical I-beams, neoprene rollers, and steel sub-base floor systems are incorporated.

  • Prevent flood waters from entering your building.
